Metalux
Pierced in twelve places and, like Vyvyan from The Young Ones, VERY METAL, Canadian Hotpunkgirl Metalux rocks out to all forms of metal: death metal, black metal, thrash metal, speed metal, and copper. Cross her palm with silver, and she'll tell you your fortune. She finds gold to be a bit gaudier than her humble, metropolitan Canadian tastes permit, however. She's not from the Yukon, punk!
Metalux firmly believes that writhing around and forming angelic patterns in the cold embrace of a fresh blanket of snow will "solve any problem that you have." Especially if your problem is a new tattoo, a spicy supper, or a cartoon-character-inflicted hot foot.
Speaking of tattoos, she's got a couple of 'em. "My initials KIS above my crotch -- my favorite place, incidentally, to be kissed -- and a swallow on each hip," she says. "After I got the swallows, my father informed me that their placement meant that I had slept with a menstruating corpse. How fucking metal is that?"
But don't be fooled by all the thunderbolts, bloodstains, and illegible logos -- there's a geeky side to this headbanging hellion. When she's not thrashing in the pit and dealing out what-for to the lightweights, she's studying computer science and genetics or reading up on geek gossip at slashdot.org. She dreams of someday designing graphics or programming video games, but she'd settle for being a mad scientist in a forensics lab "doing DNA stuff, CSI-style." Really, though, we know she wants to clone the singer from Metallica for her own personal Hetfield harem!
Metalux is occasionally distracted from all the rocking out and late night study sessions by peeking at quality sites like Manic Jane and MPI Studios (where she's prominently featured). "Working for these two Web sites is a great way for me to have fun, explore my sexuality, and even get in a bit of fun trouble!" She says, grinning.
