Tia Lunoux
Taking a break from gunning down the motherfuckers, Tia "Suicide Siren" Lunoux grants us a few minutes of her time (so we can ask questions we hope won't pursuade her to gun us down, too).
"Hey, a girl's got to reload, sometime. Ask away!" She says, checking to make sure the safety's on. We think.
As we know she's a medical student, we ask if her passion for firearms is ever in conflict with her chosen career path. She smiles and assures us that she's always been able to act in time to save those she's wrongfully shot down, not to worry. That makes us feel so much better!
"Of course, that's easy to say," says Tia, "because I'm never wrong."
Gulp!
When she's not lighting up the town with random gunplay or cloistered away studying for one god-damned final or another, Tia is a burlesque performer, go-go dancer, model, and part-time photographer for the famous Suicide Girls in Portland. We're pretty sure that ties in with her love of shooting things! We laugh nervously. She grins and says that it's too bad she left her camera at home, but she can always make do with what's at hand, tapping her pistol on the edge of the table. We change the subject, but quick! We ask her to sum up her passions off the top of her head.
"I like loud rock shows; cartoons; fast cars and guns," Tia says, scratching her chin with the barrel of the pistol at hand, "play piercings; lots of tattoos and boots; bedroom eyes; roughed up hair -- did I mention hot chicks with dreads? I also want a dog farm when I'm older. I'm really into heavy rock music, rap, and female singer/songwriters. I'm currently reading about Schrodinger's Cat and am passionate about science. One more thing about me...I'm a huge prankster, so watch out!"
Tia Lunoux has a website of her own that you should check out -- or that "watch out!" might apply to you. Also, if you're feeling plucky, she's got a Yahoo! fangroup for you to visit.
Just don't ask her if that's a pistol in her pocket or if she's just happy to see you. Because the answer is yes, motherfucker.
