Mychelle Jynx
Fluent in both English and redneck, vegetarian Tennessee native Mychelle Jynx writes:
“I’m just a typical, broke-ass twenty-year-old college student. I’m majoring in journalism and will probaly have a minor in photography. I’m always sarcastic and have a tendency to come off as a bitch to some. Love me or hate me… I really don’t give a shit.
“When I’m not busy trying to keep up with school, I’m either attempting to work on my Web site, playing pool, going out with my friends, or spending time with my wonderful boyfriend and getting drunk. I love music and have a very eclectic taste - one minute I’m listening to Wilco and, the next, Type O Negative or The Damned. My tastes are eclectic in pretty much everything, not just music. More about that, though, can be found on my site.
“In closing, as Mae West said, ‘When choosing between two evils, I always like to take the one I’ve never tried before.’”
In her infinite mercy, Ms. Jinx gives you more than two choices, however. She’s got a Web site, a Yahoo! group, a Livejournal, and…heck. We wouldn’t want to make your job too easy, stalker! You’ll figure it all out. And while you’re giving it some thought, maybe you could get her something nice?
This site was designed for those of us who have an aesthetic appreciation of women who don’t conform to mainstream society’s ideal of beauty. A “Hotpunkgirl” is someone who flips up her middle finger at such standards and dares her own style in spite of what the popular fashion magazines tell her is “in.” If you’re hung up on compartmentalizing and your strict definition of “punk” doesn’t seem to match ours, you might want to check out The Captain’s Helm for a little explanation. Please enjoy!
